Grow Your Soup I

I’ve always enjoyed making and creating things, but I’ve never taken pictures of them or shared my creations with people. While I was walking around home depot, and picking out different things to start growing an herb garden, I decided that I should also grow a blog, so that I can share my adventures, things that inspire me, and things that I create! So here is my very first entry 🙂

I potted a cilantro and basil plant, and planted some organic tomato seeds. I covered the pots in my mom’s old dish towels and finished them off with some twine. Now they have a new home in the nook above the kitchen sink, where they will get plenty of sunshine 🙂

I planted this one for Andrew, since he likes tomatoes so much. I made a plant marker that says “Grow Your Soup”. Hopefully, I can make tomato basil soup one day using the plants from my herb garden 🙂
