Hello August! Where has the time gone? How is summer flying by so quickly!? It’s my favorite season, so I’m excited to share these photos of a backyard summer garden party I designed with Petite Petal Co. to celebrate The Glitter Guide‘s 5 year anniversary. The blog’s founder, Taylor Sterling (above) has impeccable taste, so it was fun and easy to build off of her ideas and inspiration for this party. In true Glitter Guide fashion, we used various shades of pink for the color palette and mixed in some gold and wood tones. Taylor wanted to keep the decor simple, so we styled the space out with tons of beautiful flowers, and the results are stunning, if I do say so myself!
Instead of hiring a bartender, we had Wine Meats Cheese whip up 3 different types of beverages in pretty drink dispensers for guests to help themselves.
Everyone loved the beautiful, vintage-inspired glassware from Bright Rentals paired with the fever few petal garnish.
Understandably so, this was the most popular station of the evening! We set out buckets of an assortment of flowers, kraft paper, scissors and twine, and guests went to town making their own unique, hand tied bouquet to take home as favor. I think this would be a fun activity to have at a bridal or baby shower as well!
Congrats Glitter Guide, on your five year anniversary! As always, I love partnering up with you, and I can’t wait to see what the next five years has in store. Many thanks to the talented team of vendors listed below who helped make this event a big success! Before signing off for the weekend, don’t forget to check out more photos of this event on My Domaine and The Glitter Guide!
