Crabbing

Andrew and I headed North yesterday to go crabbing and clamming with Nathan, Michelle, and her family at Lawson’s Landing in Dillon Beach. It was our first time, and it definitely lived up to our expectations! Not only was it a beautiful place, but we had so much fun pulling and casting the crab nets, anxious to see what we caught, in hopes they would be large enough to take home with us. No yummy dungeness crabs were caught, but we did take home quite a bit of red rock crabs. Michelle’s mom cooked them up later that night, and they were so delicious! Now that it’s crabbing and clamming season, I can’t wait to try it again in Santa Cruz and have a delicious clam bake!
