DIY Wedding Ribbon Wands

Today I am going to show you how to make ribbon wands! Ribbon wands make a nice alternative for a wedding send off because some venues do not allow sparklers or confetti. Image via Ruffled.

You will need ribbon in your color choice, scissors, 12 inch wooden dowels, a hot glue gun and glue sticks, a candle, and ruler.

Cut your ribbon 16 inches long and then glue the ribbon ends to each other.

Seal the edges by carefully holding the edge of the ribbon near a small flame.

Put some glue on the end of the dowel and wrap the glued side of the ribbon tightly around the dowel.

All finished!
