Spring Branches

Ahh…I love spring – the fresh crisp air and blooming trees and flowers. Cherry blossoms and magnolia trees with their amazing colors and textures have always been a favorite of mine this time of year.They are so girly and pretty, don’t you think?

During my last trip to the flower mart I picked up a few blooming branches that I’ve had on our table for the past couple of weeks. They’ve bloomed so nicely and have been such a fun addition. Fresh flowers are always so nice to have around and these are great because they are so easy to put together (just plop in a vase or jar) and really make a dramatic difference, especially with the tall ceilings in our loft.

DesignSponge had a post today about tea party decor with blooming branches that has some great tips about getting branches to bloom quicker and making arrangements from your own tree. Love their centerpiece with the multiple vases and the idea to use bottles!
