Wall Antlers

I had been wanting to put something up on the wall above my TV since there is a lot of space there (we have really tall ceilings in that part of our loft) and I thought a piece of art might have been too much, letters could have worked, but I already have some nearby on the shelf above the fireplace, and then I came across some paper mache antlers at West Elm (which I also happened to have a gift card for) that I thought would be perfect!
Well hello West Elm paper mache antlers. Welcome home.
Empty wall in need of some extra pizzaz. PS. I need to learn how to use my camera.
My tall husband helping me find the proper placement. The antlers both have a whole in the back so all they required was a simple nail in the wall.

Here’s a good shot of what they look like with the TV on, which is the typical view from the couch. I’m loving my new antlers and am pretty pleased with the purchase. Trendy they may be, but they were relatively inexpensive and I had a gift card, so they didn’t break the bank by any means and no deer were harmed in the process since they are faux. Hoping to be able to paint our walls in the next place we live in (right now I ‘m crushing on gray walls) which will make them stand out even more.
