Eat Drink & Get Married Event

A couple weeks ago we shared some deets from The Lab Event that we were a part of earlier this year (boy do we need to get better at blogging more regularly). Well today we’ve got some goodies to share from another bridal event that we had the opportunity to style this past February along with some other amazing vendors.

The event was Eat, Drink and Get Married and it was put on by SouthBayBrides.com, an new online bridal resource provided by Bay Area News Group. It took place at the San Jose Museum of Art, which is a pretty sweet venue. For those of you looking for something outside of the box in the South Bay, we definitely recommend you check it out.

As for what we did, to keep with the theme of the space, we went with a painterly design for for our tablescape. In leu of table numbers, we used artists names propped in brushes , we used DIY splattered paint cans for vases, water color kits for favors, a DIY paint card runner, and went with watercolor styled stationary. The dishware was from Anthropologie and the rentals, linens, stationary, flowers and yummy treats came from the following talented and amazing vendors:

Stationary: The Card Lady
Flowers: De Young Flowers
Desserts: Sweet Lauren Cakes
Rentals & lighting: Williams Party Rentals
Vintage Rentals: Milk Glass Rentals
Linens:  Napa Valley Linens

Oh and we can’t forget the talented Kirsten Julia for yet again getting some amazing photos for us and capturing the details perfectly.

Karla over at The Card Lady had such a cute area that she designed along with some great vintage rentals from  Milk Glass.

Sweet Lauren Cakes is seriously the bomb.com. She’s super great to work with, her desserts are oh so pretty and they are mouth watering delicious.  We’re getting hungry again just posting these pictures.

Daughter’s of Simone had some of their vintage gowns on display and boy oh boy are they gorgeous.

Check out the gorgeous tablescape put together by Bloomingdales with rentals from Milk Glass and Flowers by De Young Flowers. Who’s ready to register?!

Stay tuned for some more updates about what we’ve been up to lately!
