1 Year Anniversary Session

About 1.5 years ago, I got together with some amazingly talented vendors to put together a styled shoot for a couple’s 1 year anniversary. Their friend Delbarr, who so happens to be an amazing photographer listened to their ideas and what they were envisioning and brought me on board to help execute it! The shoot took place at one of my favorite Bay Area venues, Villa Montalvo. It’s European feel captured the exact aesthetic the couple was drawn to. The bride was styled to perfection by Adrea Cabrera and dressed in a variety of gowns from Haute Bride. She carried a stunning bouquet designed by Studio Mondine made up up of blush garden roses, pieris, and snowberry. And the groom looked as handsome as can be in a classic navy suit. Inspired by the groom’s suit, I chose to design everything around a navy, blush, peach, and beige linen color palette. I designed a sweetheart table for the couple and used a neutral beige linen which really allowed the white and gold china and navy napkins to pop. The garden style floral centerpiece stole the show and finished off the look of the table. And last but not least, this elegant affair wouldn’t be complete without a vintage lounge. This was truly a magical day and I feel so lucky I got to be a part of their anniversary celebration and help create some magical pictures that they will treasure forever.
