Cards by Vy

My dear friend Vy came out to Pasadena to visit me yesterday for a belated birthday celebration! Vy and I met freshman year in a writing class, and ended up taking several studio art classes together. She’s one of the sweetest, down to earth people I know, and I’m so glad to have a friend like her.

She’s also really creative. Here are two elephant cards she’s made me. The one on the right is from last year when I turned 21, and the one of the left is from my 22nd birthday.

And here are the yummy peanut butter & chocolate cupcakes she made! Thanks for your very thoughtful birthday gifts and for visiting Vy, I had a great time 🙂
