A Little Weekend Getaway

Since I went up to visit Andrew early, I brought some fabric with me, so that I could work on a project while he was away at work on Friday.

It was another lazy, rainy day, so I made these fabric rosettes to add to the pile of fabric brooches for the tea party in April.

And on Saturday, Andrew and his friend Marcus surprised me and Lara (Marcus’ girlfriend) with a day date – breakfast and a day at the Kiva Retreat Spa House! This is a shot of the amazing view of the beach from Marcus’ apartment.

Cinnamon french toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, and OJ. Everything was so delicious 🙂

It was so sweet and thoughtful of them to plan such a relaxing day for us. Thanks Boys,I had really great time!
