New Places

1) I apologize for the lack of posting lately.
2) I’ve been working on lots of projects at work and at home, I promise!
3) And… I’ve moved! I’m now living in Culver City with my brother for the next couple months, and it’s been quite an adventure finding my way around this city.

This past weekend, Vy came and visited me so that we could find some new places to visit (thrift stores, flea markets, cafes, coffee shops, art galleries, craft and fabric stores), you know…the usual!

We ended up going to the Venice Beach flea market and eating a delicious lunch at a cute little cafe called Cafe Laurent.

She ordered pasta, and I ordered a tropical shrimp & mango salad. And of course, we ended up splitting and switching our food 🙂

Now that I’m getting more used to the area, I’m excited about having a new place to myself. And with new places, comes decorating!

Lots of DIY decorating projects in the works, and I promise I’ll post them as I complete them!
