Mossed
I’ve been trying to tackle little wedding projects here and there so that I can store them and check them off my list (which is such a satisfying feeling!) So today, I made some moss initials to hang on the doors of the barn , where our reception will be.
Andrew had some leftover foam boards from his Halloween costume, so I sketched out our initials, and cut them out with a jigsaw. You can do this with green floral foam too and cut it out with a razor blade, but I found that the jigsaw was easier because it’s faster and makes a very clean cut.
Next, I used my trusty hot glue gun to cover them in moss, which I purchased at Home Depot for only $ 5 a bag.
Ta Daaa! Moss initials for only $ 10 ! The great thing about the base being foam is that I can go in later and poke in the stems from a small floral arrangement, to give them a bit more pizazz.
