Spread The Love

Whew was this a labor of love! Andrew and I decided to make and can homemade strawberry jam (because we are getting married at a strawberry farm) as our party favors for the wedding. I had no idea it would take so much time! After 4 different Jam making parties, we are finally done with making 100 cups of delicious strawberry jam ! Here are some pictures of the process.

Hulling and washing the delicious strawberries, which we couldn’t help but snack on 🙂

Thankfully, Andrew’s mom was happy to help us out!

Squeezing the juice from the lemons that Matthew (Andrew’s little brother) picked for us from the tree next door.

And finally pouring in the jam and getting it ready to be canned and sealed. It was so hot you can see the steam coming up out of the funnel! Now, all we need to do is stick on our “Spread the Love” labels and top them off with some fabric and bakers twine for a whimsical and rustic touch!
